Greg Drummond

Director of Teaching and Learning, Los Altos School District

Greg Drummond is the Director of Teaching and Learning in Los Altos School District, where he oversees the development and implementation of all of its instructional programs and teacher professional development. Greg began his career as an upper-elementary teacher, then served as an induction mentor, and program coordinator. Most recently, Greg led a team in the development of a state-approved, district-run teacher induction program. Greg brings a unique perspective as a fellow leading early childhood initiatives in a basic aid school district without a California State Preschool Program. He is particularly interested in closing achievement and engagement gaps early. Through his fellowship with DIAL EE, Greg hopes to lead LASD in the development of partnerships with private community preschools to strengthen the P-3 program and ensure all students in the community have access to high quality early learning.
